This post is going to discuss 2nd steps. What is RSS? RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication (or Rich Site Summary). You can subscribe RSS feed from any sites that own one. Simply said, it's a news reader. Instead of using social bookmark, which needs the user to check preferred sites regularly. RSS feed will update itself and you will be updated with post headline and summary (according to sites preferences). Hence, you don't need to check on your favorite sites for new content. Try it.

You can view sites RSS using RSS reader. There are two types of reader, which is desktop-based or web-based. Check out these readers. These are top ranked.

Use this reader to find the latest content on your favorite sites in a jiffy. But actually, what we, bloggers, need to do is submit our feed to the blog directory so that our feed can be read by the readers.

Blog Directory
Blog directory utilize a concept than when your surf other blog and gain a point which will be use to promote yours. This service is traffic service. What does it do? Just provide traffic. Unless your site can attract visitors that past by; this is a temporary traffic. Read my previous post. But blog directory only listed blog. Blog Directory will list our blog and categorized in its own directory, so to speak. So people will surf on its category and may find common. And creates interest. I actually planned to post a list of RSS and Blog Directory submission sites. But there's another great post already on the net that list all the sites. And lots of it. And it's free!

What you need to do is submit your feed (if you are using blogger) through the site listed.
Replace green portion with your own blog name. Only one needed.

If you are using classic blogger :

It maybe took between 2-7 working days for your feed to be reviewed and approve. Send your feed now. Share with other.
